==Early Life==
Kim was born in [[Laramie, Wyoming]] on March 23, 1968 to high school sweethearts, Betty McKinnon (1947) and Larry Andersen (1946). As an oil and gas executive, Larry Andersen moved his family around the world to places including [[Dubai ]] and [[Kazakhstan]]. Kimberly spent most of her childhood in [[Littleton, Colorado]]. After graduating from high school, Kimberly went to the same university her parents attended and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching (1990).
Wanting to move to a warmer climate, Kimberly applied and was accepted to begin her teaching career in Katy, Texas. From 1995 until 1997 she attended the [[University of Houston, Clear Lake ]] and completed her Masters in Elementary Education and Training.
From 1994 until 2013, Kim was married to Mark Sweet. In late 2014, Kimberly met her current husband [[Jeff Hastings]] (<span class="plainlinks">[https://contractcoach.com ''C.E.O. of ContractCoach'']</span>) on the dating website, <span class="plainlinks">[https://match.com ''match.com'']</span>.
